Dani’el’ s entire work is conceived as a great artistic masterpiece with distinctive voice and he’s not just trying to sound similar to everyone else in electro, synthpop, but above all his visual appearance is extremely impressive which can be seen in his fashion music videos.

Dani’el, real name Danijel Majcen, synth pop artist from Croatia introduced himself with his debut album “The Book” by Conzoom Records, Germany, 2013. In collaboration with many artists he has given us remixed debut album “The Book: Revision” in April 2014 by Dita Entertainment.

Due to the fact that singles “Safe” and “It’s Time” from debut album ‘The Book’ were a great success, Dani’el was picked up by Spotify itself to be added in their more than 20.000 followers strong “Fresh Electro” playlist and holding the #1 spot on Deezer for a month.

His musical education began at the age of 7 at the School of Music in Varaždin, studying clarinet and vocal training. In 1995, he enrolled at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, and 4 years later completed his postgraduate studies. Today, he’s working as a professor in the School of Music in Zagreb.

’Safe’ is modern, cosmopolitan and full of feeling; it makes you want to live life, not give up on it and move to suburbia. There are so many acts who churn out glossy, uninspired, and just plain dull versions of dance-influenced pop, so it’s refreshing and reassuring to hear someone who’s the real deal.Chartburst - Kev Wright
’The Book” is the Dani’el official debut full length and the least I can say is that it’s a high-tech and extremely qualitative synth-pop release. The production skills of this artist are more than impressive. The sound is crystal-clear while the charismatic, clear vocals production is absolutely amazing.Side-Line Magazine
’This album sound almost like Erasure or Pet shop Boys, with all the danceable and cheerful touches of the 80’s, but putting current touches to the songs to achieve a modern electro pop album. It’s a mix of vintage electropop with avant garde tendencies, so it is definitely a multi-generational album. Powerful electropop album, that contains the 80’s essence mixed with all the modern aspects of musical influences and aesthetic content in a very interesting artistic way. GUILLERMO CORONEL (Brutal Resonance - Sweden)
’Does anyone know the word “astrein” (clean as a whistle)? Already emerged from the language of fashion, it’s time to celebrate its renaissance. With “The Book” (Dita / Conzoom), debut album by a Croatian music professor, Dani’el created a platform for it because more flawless mixing dance and electropop is not possible – so clean as a whistle.Stephan Wolf (Amusio)
