EthnoRemake by Ivan Jelić left fascinating impressions on the citizens of Kutina

In Ivan Jelić by Art Hill

After he sold-out small hall in Lisinski in November, Ivan continued to make impressive performances with his project EthnoRemake. On December 13, as part of the „Winter Magic“ in the town of Kutina, this project was sold-out once again few days before its premiere in Public Open University Kutina, which was also the main organizer. Masterful interpretations of traditional ethnic tunes from southeast Europe left everyone speechless.

Ivan performed various repertoire of traditional songs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and songs from different parts of our beautiful country.

Continuous cooperation between Ivan and world-known musicians is the proof of the quality of this project. Ivan welcomes many different guests and friends to share the stage with him on every EthnoRemake. This was also the case in Kutina where his friends and guests contributed to making this evening special for every person in the audience. Kutina was able to witness the greatness of our famous opera singer Sandra Bagarić, world-known virtuoso lutenist Edin Karamazov, and female choir Kolapjanke from Sisak. The special guest of this project was a young and very talented singer Inga Potnar from Kutina who managed to get the loudest applause from the audience with her vocal interpretations.

Jasminka Molnar, a principal of POU Kutina, showed her appreciation after the concert and thanked everyone who helped in the realization of this project, all musicians, sponsors, and visitors. We can all agree that this was an evening that will become a wonderful memory for those lucky ones that managed to get their tickets on time.
