Stefan Milenkovich – The Triptych Life Challenges

The Triptych Life Challenges. Have you ever wondered what the greatest violinist in the world sounds like? It’s very easy to describe; just find all the superlatives that you can and then add the name Stefan Milenkovich.

The man is an absolute musical genius and last Saturday evening I was privileged to watch and listen to him perform along with the Zagreb Soloists in Opatija. After a short video presentation, the curtain lifted and the Zagreb Soloists played a wonderful introduction as Stefan took to the center of the stage.

The Triptych Life Challenges benefit concerts were part of the 25th-anniversary celebrations of the Croatian-American Society. The events were held in Zagreb, Varaždin and here in Opatija at the Gervais Cultural Center. The project, The Challenges of Life, is in aid of young people without parental care and will provide the implementation of Outward Bound programs.

In addition to the large classical music loving crowd, the organizers, co-organizers, Croatian Music Youth, Art Hill and Meritum Communications, the Opatija concert was also attended by the mayor of Opatija, Ivo Dujmic. They were left spellbound and speechless by this masterful violin playing as well as the majestic pizzicato performance.

Stefan Milenkovich and the Zagreb Soloists performed Felix Mendelssohn, String Symphony No.10 in B minor, and MWV N 10 and Violin Concerto E Minor OP.64. Nicolo Paganini, La Campanella and Pablo de Sarasate Carmen Fantasy, Op. 25 as well as the unmistakable John Williams theme from the timeless Schindler’s List. Each performance received a standing ovation from the appreciative audience.

Stefan stood center stage for the majority of the recital, but towards the end of the performance he joined the soloists and was seated. They formed an incredible and impressive string ensemble and together they continued to give a virtuoso performance.

As the maestro departed the stage, the audience rose to their feet one last time for a rousing standing ovation with shouts of “Bravo, Bravo”. Stefan Milenkovich and the Zagreb Soloists returned and took their well-deserved accolade and bowed gracefully.

Ana Rucner Event

WTA Bol Open Promoting Dalmatian Quality At The Player’s Party by Art Hill

The most exclusive Player’s Party was staged on the luxurious mega yacht Katina in Bol port last night.

A great tournament deserves its most elite player’s party, and it was a spectacular one on May 29, 2016, at the Katina yacht berthed in the port of Bol. Most of the players enjoyed the party long into the night, together with the guests of the tournament, including big names from Croatian and international business.

Ana Rucner was performing on the cello, and it was a breathtaking performance, both a visual and audio one. She heated up the atmosphere and was joined by the players dancing on the stage which had been improvised near the whirlpool at the deck of the Katina yacht.

Taverna Riva Bol was in charge of the catering, providing perfect food, and excellent service together with the Varadero Cocktail Bar, and Dalmatian goods were served. Compliments to the chef are in order, and we have to compliment the Tournament Director, Mr. Feliks Lukas once again, as he insisted on Croatian performers, Dalmatian wines, and domestic food. The guests from overseas were stunned by the quality of the service, and as the venue was Dalmatian made too, Mr. Lukas has made his point about the necessity of promoting the local forces.

Michael Jackson is alive!! And he is in Croatia!!!

Miguel Concha is a Chilean who is absolutely crazy about Michael Jackson and Croatia. This is a man who incredibly reminds of famous singer and besides his amazing imitation has all the copies of his costumes. He has won numerous awards at competitions of imitators. Millions of viewers around the world have seen his skills, either live or via small screens.

Right now he is in Zagreb – thanks to his former love, to Art Hill and more frequent gigs. Here is how Miguel explains his arrival and stays: “I came here abruptly. Not because I liked it or that I knew something about Croatia. It was a fate, true love story. I met a girl from Zagreb over the Internet and we corresponded for four years. First, she came to Spain, and then I came to Zagreb.”

He fell in love with Zagreb as soon as he realized how much the citizens of Zagreb love him. Green Gold club, Močvara, Metropolis, Super Super – are just some of the clubs where he has shown that Michael Jackson was reincarnated.

At the show “The Legend continues” you can expect an attractive video production accompanied by numerous dancers and musicians. They perform the greatest hits like Billie Jean, Man in the Mirror, Beat It, Black or White, Smooth Criminal and many others.

How Miguel managed to charm everyone in this country speaks the fact that there is a shooting of documentary about his life and love for the King of Pop. You can read more about our artist on Tportal.

Event Monaco Yacht Show

Monaco Yacht Show 2015

At the Monaco Yacht Show, which took place from 23-26 September 2015, Art Hill has organized unforgettable parties at the presentation of Croatian yacht Katina by Brodosplit company from Split. If it had been another boring event, we would continue to write in this formal tone, but it most certainly was nothing like that. We organized parties that managed to create unforgettable boat parties out of a luxury cruising yacht.
When people are approaching you the next day asking for approval to join your party, we know what an amazing job we did and exactly why we love what we do.
But we won’t take all the credits. Firstly, we’d like to thank each participant and each small link in this chain that has functioned so well and didn’t break all four days.
Many thanks, to Ana Rucner for her energy and excellent performance that made it clear to everyone that Croats and Croatian boats can both sail and party.
Big thanks, to Atomic Dance Factory, for managing to move every hip on the yacht and even of the guests that seemed very official.
Also big thanks to ballerinas Andra Solomun i Ema Janković who maybe didn’t move everyone’s hips but they most certainly warmed up all the palms from overwhelming applause and admiration.
Many thanks to DJ-a GO CUT-a and amazing saxophonist Jakša Jordes who managed to cheer up every visitor of the show, of Monaco, and inhabitants of the surrounding region of Monaco.
Matej Deronjić, Luka Veselinović and Borko Rupena, big thanks to you guys as well. Even though the yacht was moored, we had the impression that we were sailing alongside your jazz sound.

Of course, many thanks to best Croatian cocktail master Vjenceslav Madić who created excellent cocktails Monaco and Katina.

A big thank you to a team of chefs and waiters, cameramen, photographers, drivers and DBoki team who made a spectacle out of this event with their lighting and sound system. Also, many thanks to hostesses who have worked hard but yet managed to stay charming and cheerful through all days of the Show..
